Community Involvement

Bay Star Homes

Everyone can be a star when it comes to protecting Hampton Roads waterways. To become a Bay Star Home, residents can simply pledge to complete eight waterway-friendly behaviors around their home and/or yard. Most activities are no- or low-cost changes such as scooping the poop, recycling, and proper disposal of yard debris. To sign up, visit the askHRgreen.org Bay Star Homes page.

Bay Star Businesses

Hampton Roads businesses can show their support for healthy waterways by pledging to implement five eco-friendly activities in their business and/or the surrounding community. Most pledges involve no- or low-cost changes such as conserving water, recycling, and hosting litter cleanups. To sign up, visit the askHRgreen.org Bay Star Business page.
